Air conditioning units have been installed at the day care center in Bethlehem, just in time for the hot summer months. Christian children now have a cool, safe environment where they can learn more about God while their parents work.



Air Conditioning for Holy Land Day Care Center

A few weeks ago, I received distressing news about a day care center in Beit Sahour, a Christian area inside the Bethlehem “governate.” The day care, with 117 children age four and under, had only one of seven rooms with a working air conditioner.



Christmas in the West Bank

The Christian population in Bethlehem is no longer self-sustaining. It is with that understanding that Christmas for Refugees agreed to hold a Christmas party for 800 Christian children still living in the Bethlehem and Beit Sahour area, to bring some joy to the shrinking Christian population. Christmas events for Christian refugee children is now in four countries!
Nigeria, held it’s first Christmas for Refugees event at an orphanage in the heart of the conflict zone. In Lebanon each child received a meal and a toy, usually a board game that could be shared at home, or Gospel themed coloring and work books. The families received double thick blankets. These blankets were manufactured in Lebanon by a non-profit organization made up of Syrian refugees.
